At the time nobody knew exactly where Bargs fit in. We thought he could be a 3 or a 5. But he obviously ended up being a 4.

It can be argued Bargnani had the highest ceiling in that draft, though he never reached it.

Gay fell to 8th to suggest he should have been #1

Picks 3 & 4 were busts (Morrison, Thomas) many here wanted Morrison.

Roy went 6th to Minny & was traded.

Rondo drafted 21st, benefited from learning & playing with 3 HOF's.

The only case that can be made is for Aldridge & even then, at that point, not a clear decision.

The fact that he has yet to get contract extension suggest to me they are thinking about letting him go, but to do so, they need to have someone to replace him. Perhaps Stepanski?

What happen this off season, was Ed not supposed to be brain trust?.
