Rondo will DOMINATE tonight. 25 points, 15 assists and 5 rebounds. Ridnour can't keep up with RR. If Rajon doesn't play huge tonight we have to really start questioning his heart...

    2013-2014 BOSTON CELTICS

    RONDO / PRESSEY
    BRADLEY / BAYLESS / JOHNSON
    GREEN / WALLACE / BOGANS
    BASS / HUMPHRIES / FAVERANI
    SULLINGER / OLYNYK / ANTHONY

I believe rajon wants to win badly all the time. That I know. But he does lack being able to keep his emotions in check ( Perk trade, incidents with refs, fight last week)

he's certainly capable and it's not like the C's are known for boxing out to begin with...

Bass found himself on the bench early. Green is being very agressive. Love it.

What's going on with bass? Seriously, he hasn't played well in a while.

Bass is the obvious guy in the rotation to be headed out of town first in a deal for a #4 or #5. Lee is having another meh game.

Green looks good. Jet too. KG needs more help.

At the expense of being attacked by the usual crowd - re post #4. Rondo does not want to win all the time. In the past 2 years he has mailed in about 35 non national TV regular season games. He gets up for big games, and confrontations against guys that *might* be better then him such as Rose, Parker, etc.

He does seem a bit flat tonight so far, not awful, but not "MVP" "team leader" quality either.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

    Some jerks never learn.....

    I don't think Tommy Heinsohn understands +/-.

I think he steps up his game when playing better competition but I don't think he ever mails it in when playing inferior competition. Either way i love the fact that rondo steps up his game in the spotlight and by that I mean playoff time opposed to a player that shrinks under the pressure.
