Hopefully Coach Allen can buck the trend. He is 0-2 against his former teams so far (Denver & Atlanta).

It depends on what Raiders defense shows up. The secondary fared pretty well against Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White on their fast track in Atlanta.

They can play with the Saints, the questions is, will they?

i feel we can handle them but im worried about our secondary and running game if either are a factor we lose..i also worry about which team shows up and i hope its the one that beat the steelers and almost wooped the falcons

The only things we have going for us are A) The game is in Oakland, B) it is outside, ad C) Carson Palmer.

did you notice palmer and brees stats are similar, unfortunately..brees will be throwing vs our porous secondary. Our best shot is to run the ball enough to keep brees off the field, or a lot of short ball control paasses by carson.

actually I wouldnt be totally upset if we lose out, as long as we trade for a few more draft picks.

When a team is better on both sides of the ball, I can see why you guys would give the Raiders little to no chance to win the game... Look at those stats, Although Palmer has thrown for 10 less TD's than Brees, he is up there in comp % and yardage. I think we could see a shootout on our hands, hopefully Palmer responds to the pressure better than he did in ATL. At a closer look, I think our 23rd ranked D will give us an advantage to their 32nd ranked D. Not much on paper seperates these two teams and their production thus far this year. Bottom line, If Palmer gets in stride, and limits the Offense's mistakes, and our D plays like they did in ATL, Raiders can win this one.
