Keenan Allen doesn't excite me even though he's a talented player and an upgrade, would prefer a pass rusher. I'm interested in your second round.

I don't think I'm going to get a 2nd Rd on this one. I'll probably make a 2 Rd mock next week though.

I wouldn't say disappointing, he just hasn't seen a lot of time. He's had one great game on defense, and one great game on specials teams, other than that he hasn't done much mostly ecause he hasn't had a lot of time. Based on potential the future looks bright for Vernon. However, I'm a firm beliefs that Miami needs another pass rusher opposite Wake, someone that can make immediate impact, Wake is doing all the work and he gets virtually no help, if he had a pass rusher opposite him I think we'd see some very, very impressive performances and numbers from Wake. On top of that, it'd help our secondary a great deal despite the lack of talent in the secondary, we will need a CB in the first two rounds though. With that said, I wouldn't be upset with Allen, some other receiver, or a CB in the first round as opposed to a pass rusher. I just feel that a pass rusher would have more impact a lot sooner, plus Wake isn't getting any younger, and if he went down we'd have nobody to rush the passer.

1st round pick. With Eric Reid regressing, Jefferson is the best Safety in the draft class

I kept the explanations short. If you want more reasoning just ask. The order is directly from the NFL.com league standings. It could grow to a 2 Rd mock if I'm not too busy tomorrow.

Even with Nhamdis cap hit. CB is much further down on the list or priorities and needs for the Eagles this coming offseason
