R.A. Dickey Wins Cy Young

Can you guys leave the trade Dickey talks out of just this one thread?

This is only the 3rd Met in history to win the award.

A sense of decorum should begin to overwhelm some of you.

There are enough threads going where we're debating the merits of a possible Dickey trade.

This thread isn't the appropriate spot for those thoughts. RA Dickey is a Met tonight who won the Cy Young. Can't we just enjoy that without talking about why he should be traded?

Don't we have enough misery as Met fans that we can at least savior a special moment?

I am not trying to poo poo what Dickey did.

He asked a question and i was trying to give WS the possible reasons for moving him (whether he thinks its ******** or not)

If we had better ownership this wouldn't even be an issue.

This is R.A.'s thread. Tonight is R.A.'s night. What he accomplished is nothing short of spectacular. I was privileged to witness 3 of R.A.'s wins first hand this season, and each game was amazing. I was at Bobby Jones' 1 hitter against the Giants in 2000, but as great a pitching performance as that was, Dickey was more dominating in his games this year.
