Great for Dickey. Really a fantastic and inspiring story.
I'm sure his value went up even more after this. I would assume somehting gets done soon now, either an extension or trade.
I am so happy for R.A. It couldn't have happened to a better individual. For all that he's gone through in his playing career with the ups and downs in the minors this is truly a great story and a major accomplishment especially playing on this team. And that GM who we had, I think his name was Omar was the one who saved his playing career after that disaster season in Seattle by giving him a legitimate chance at being a starter again. This was Dickey's year and the stars were aligned perfectly for him to put together a season of this magnitude. It gave us Mets fans who have nothing to cheer for in the second half of seasons a real reason to be excited about this team playing. I will be honest I only tuned into Dickey's starts when the Mets collapsed after the ASB. Congrats R.A., we all wish you the best with your new team whoever that may be.
Pleaseeeeeee Mets, make a move with Dickey. Extend/trade him, if they do nothing I will go bananas.
Do the writers have a clue? They kept saying it was too close to call. Heck he won by a landslide. Congrats RA you made your congregation proud of you. We bow down and claim we're not worthy!
