It isn't over yet. The QB situation is going to change IMO no matter who the coach is.

why? why give up on a rookie QB? weak draft class and really only smith and flynn in the market. i think we got other needs, weeden needs another year with real play calling and lets see what happens.

former # Browns QB Bernie Kosar said he had headaches (ringing, buzzing) for most of past 10-12 years because of concussions he suffered

kosar said hes known for a few yrs hes had serious issues because of concussions. said hes had ringing, buzzing etc in head for 12 years

kosar found doctor who's been able to treat him & reduce the symptoms he's had; wants to spread word to current/former players needing help

    Will Burge ‏ @ WillBurge
bernie kosar said he feels blessed to be restored and not have the concussion symptoms anymore because of a "ground breaking" treatment

kosar said he's been treated now for 3.5 weeks and feels 20 years younger

Dr. Rick Sponaugle, who is treating Kosar, speaking about brain trauma & time it takes to heal, impact of violent head collisions

    Nate Ulrich ‏ @ NateUlrichABJ
kosar brought dr. rick sponaugle w/him to explain treatment. doc said he's done this w/other # NFL players but they didn't want to go public

    Daryl Ruiter ‏ @ RuiterWrongFAN
slurring speech (which many fans have noticed over years w/ bernie) is a direct effect of brain trauma

    Daryl Ruiter ‏ @ RuiterWrongFAN
Scarring in brain can cause déjà I as well as rage/anger which are a result of "micro seizures" per Dr. Sponaugle
Best of luck to BK with his treatments. One of my favorite Browns of all time even with the Miami ties.

ESPN Cleveland is stating it was a result of his concussions and brain damage. I think they're covering up for him and his boozing.

I would have thought that Josh Gordon was a lock for All Rookie team. Hilton and Blackmon are tough to argue with, though.

Yeah Blackmon really came on in the second half especially when Henne took over. The only things Gordon had over Black was YAC and AVG Per Catch. Blackmon had more catches, same TD's, better YPG, and more total yards but he also had over 35 more targets with all numbers being close. Probably gave it to Blackmon on name rec over Gordon. TY definately deserved it.

You guys need to understand that the man had 12 documented concussions....with ??? many more that he played right through. They have come out and said that the areas of his brain that are most damaged are the areas that control his speech and his emotions. Back off the "he was drunk" crap...

The man does nothing but stick up for Cleveland, does nothing but honor requests for his time, and wears our colors on his sleeve. The interview sounded terrible...I heard it live, but my first thought wasn't "he's drunk", it was...his egg is fried (I was actually thinking early onset dementia, which I have family experience with).
