    You do both.

Scraps mount to high rewards later. Can't get high rewards without scraps along the way.

Boozer for Harrington and JJ Sounds to good to be true, we would have to throw in some 1st and young guys like Teague and Butler IMO.

JJ is having a steller year, and Harrington, while not my favorite, is a good role player.

IN all honesty, the only packate I can see from the Magic are to take Turkaglu back. which im not opposed to, he isnt he best player in the league, but he could make a good backup combo foward who can shoot the 3. spread the floor, and even make some plays.

Boozer, Rip, and Fillers for Turk and JJ Redick would make my day.

A large degree of scraps doesn't reward later on more than anything else most of the time. You see the Bobcats? They've been scrapping forever. The Warriors. The Blazers for a decade. The Celtics were awful for what, 20 years almost?

You can certainly get high rewards without scrapping along the way. Look at the Spurs and the Lakers.

Nah, Boozer makes no sense for the Magic. They're cutting salary and getting younger, not adding salary (for more years mind you) and getting older.

They can easily get a pick from a mediocre team with cap space for JJ Redick (Indy makes sense). They can get an expiring deal for a guy like Al Harrington (Lakers make sense here with Artest).

Hence you go after someone like Love, which what I said. A player who's friends with Rose, admires our team, and who may want out of Minny down the road. This guy wants to contend, not just appear in the playoffs.

Love talked to Rose about playing together, and would welcome the opportunity if it present itself. He knows what he and Rose can do together. Their skills mesh really well and Love also knows Noah is the type of defensive-center he can thrive with.

With Dirk there? That front court would be terrible defensively.

How can you be sure CP3 will leave a good situation in LA?

with a front court of noah and gasol, we should be able to hold it down until rose comes back and we still are in position to be players in 2014.
