For the people who want to keep cp...really haha thats a joke the guys good but this years done and i didnt see anything great bout him besides that he cant escape from preassure. Also that he throws a pick a game. FYI Tim Tebow took the broncos to the playoffs last year. Also if pryor would have stayed in college he would have been TOP 5 PICK. The kids gonna be good just these old timers dont know how to make plays for these studs.

Also for those that didnt see the game Pryor destroyed the SAINTS! Criner and him had chemistry on the field.

    Game Set Match.

There's no reason Carson Palmer should be on the field, trailing by 24 points late in the fourth quarter.

And there's nothing to be gained from putting Matt Leinert on the field.

I see no downside to putting Pryor out there as the third quarterback. I don't want him to start - Palmer has not been bad, and changing is a massive mistake.

There have, however, been four straight games where the Raiders could have put Pryor in the game in late situations and nothing would have been lost.

He was passing to 3rd and 4th stringers, but was also facing opposing teams 3rd and 4th stringers. So what's the point here? They can't catch the ball because they aren't in the starting line up? Pryor held on to the ball way too long, scrambling, doing circles, because his first instinct was to run and not pass. NFL teams know how to stop running QB's without giving up coverage. This isn't the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Your right this isn't the buckeyes..... They are undefeated!!!!!

Anyhoo. All I was getting at was you cant base Pryor's entire NFL career on one or two preseason games. Wow. Just saying give him a shot and see what happens.

Granted I would like to see him a few plays, but more as a gimmick guy....for now. Palmer is our QB. He's done nothing to warrant being pulled.

18 touchdown with 12 interceptions and 4 fumbles lost... not impressed with carson that much either... he's only good for fantasy players right now... I'd like to see Al's last pick play.

Jeez, he's got such a weird throwing motion...

^ Feel free to turn the volume down, lol...

*ETA - And, yes, some of those look like 'real' throws. It's probably just a product of my boredom / desperation for something to cheer for, but what's to be lost by giving him a couple reps here and there...?

His throwing motion isn't really that weird. It looked different in Pre Season though. It looked as if he were aiming the ball (or throwing a shot put) ala Rivers.

I live about an hour from Columbus Ohio and obviously a Buckeye fan. I watched him several times live and always on TV. I always thought he would be a good NFL QB. I like the fact that he can run the ball and avoid taking big hits. Some forget his size. Defensive lineman can't reach with one hand and bring this guy down, so he does a great job avoiding sacks. His biggest question mark IMO is starring down receivers. But you would think that an NFL coach would correct that. I don't think he needs to start, but definitely get some reps.

This may sound wrong but I kind of want to lose to Cleveland or be down at halftime because fact is we know Palmers not young and hes been decent this year but at the end of the day why have him play meaningless football games and possibly get hurt along the way(kills his value)? Give Pryor a tryout the Raiders LITERALLY got nothing to lose and they need to see where Pryor is because fact is if hes ready theres no reason to pay 13 mill for CP3 who yes is solid but he isn't Elite.
