I'm ready to see Simba show Yunel how a real braves SS acts and plays....wish we could get Stanton!
Hard to believe just 1 year ago..the marlins were stacking themselves up for a serious run....wow..can't say I have seen this..
Merry Christmas, South Florida taxpayers.
If Wren doesn't botch this LF/CF situation, the Braves might win 100 games next season.#Marlins have traded 6 of 8 from 2012 Opening Day lineup, top 3 starters and their closer in the last 4 months. A disgrace of a franchise.
As of right now (as I track it in Twitter)
FLA to get:
Marisnick/Gose
Wilson/Mathis
Marisnick
Alverez
Nicolino
Escobar
Hechavarria
Mathis
TOR to get:
Johnson
Buehrle
Reyes
Buck
Bonifacio
DeSclafani
$4mil

Giancarlo Stanton @Giancarlo818
Alright, I'm pissed off!!! Plain & Simple
And you should be, now go tell your GM you want to be a brave
I'd trade Heyward for Stanton
Why would we move Heyward from right? He was the best right fielder defensively in baseball last year.
Please come join me on the Hawks forums.
A few reasons:
- The Marlins will look like a minor league team next season. Braves won the series 14-4 and it could slant even more in our favor.
- I am not certain that the Phillies will completely bounce back. Their best players are still old and battled injuries, and I don't know if we can expect Ruiz to repeat his 2012 performance.
- The Braves won 94 games with the AL East on the schedule. In 2013, they play the AL Central.
- The Braves' best players are all young, entering their prime, or in their prime. Heyward, Freeman, Medlen, Kimbrel, Prado, Minor, etc.
- A full season of Prado at 3B and (hopefully healthy) Simba should tighten up the left side defense, which was a problem last season.
But as I said, it comes down to how Wren deals with the LF + CF situations.
Get so pissed off that you want to play for the braves...you know you want to...
And yea...why are we moving J-hey from RF??
