Yeah we can forget about Marisnick as any part of a deal for Dickey he looks like he is headed the Marlins way.

Same with Hech, Hector Alvarez, and Escobar (not that those guys matter so much)

It's not official yet, the pieces are still being sorted out.

It looks like Yunel Escobar, Adeiny Hechavarria, Justin Nicolino, and Henderson Alvarez.

So maybe it was premature on the Marisnick account.

Right you are, and I suspect Arencibia is the odd man out.

With this trade the Blue Jays look like they are all in for 2013 why not offer Dickey for Travis d'Arnaud, Anthony Gose, and some lower prospects.

That won't work at all. By adding Johnson and Buehrle but only subtracting Alvarez, they have filled their rotation while upgrading it significantly. And I am pretty sure they believe that D'Arnaud is their catcher of the future by a long shot, they aren't parting with him. He'll most likely be their startuing catcher out of spring training.

They simply don't have any major holes remaining. Your only shot is to offer them a few very good prospects for Arencibia. Would you give up Tapia, Marte and Cecilliani for Arencibia?

I guess the Jays could go for broke and try to get Dickey since they are in mood to trade. However with Johnson and Buehrle now in their rotation I don't know if they have room for Dickey.

Nah Dickey is no longer probably an option with Buerhle and Johnson but that sucks for the Mets because the Blue Jays have a healthy farm system the Mets could have picked from.

I really wanted Marisnick or D'Arnaud.

Well off to the next trade partner for Dickey I guess.

Well it looks like the Mets are at least guaranteed 4th place if the Marlins don't do anything this offseason.

They could be historically bad next year the way they have been trading off pieces this year.

Either way, i am happy we don't have to face Reyes 18 times a year anymore either.
