I stayed home for college. It was more convenient.

I had to decide between UC Riverside (The local school), UC Santa Barbara (The cool school) and UC Berkeley (The best academic school). I decided to stay local because my sister was pregnant with my first nephew and I didn't want to be gone for most of his childhood. I also received the most scholarship money from UCR. I don't regret it at all.

I don't think so. haha. LA baby. I've been to many other colleges, and I have to admit, some schools just have too many ugly ones.

My friend's family owns one of those storage properties. Couldn't resist to talk to some and help them out.

I know people who went to UCR, 2 of my sisters did haha. I find UCR a bit boring, but if you know people, it's okay I guess.

I personally like UCI, and both SDSU and UCSD girls.

Then again, most SD and OC people girls go to LA for college and LA girls go down south. It's like a complete swap. haha

If you can afford it, I would always recommend going away for college

That's awesome. What were their majors?

And the area around campus is pretty boring. But I lived in Riverside for 13 years. I know all the right people to make it as exciting as I want

And I prefer UCR girls over UCI girls. But SD girls are gorgeous.

If you have a thing for Asian girls, UCR is definitely for you lol.

Even if you can afford it, money is a big factor. Student loans can put you behind quite a bit; sacrifice all the "partying" a little bit so you can start your professional life with spendable income.

You want to come out of undergrad with no debt. That's key especially if your terminal degree is not going to be a bachelors. There is not that much difference between a degree from a state school and a degree from a fancy pants school... If you are going on then the school you get your undergrad doesn't matter much as long as you excel.

So some of this depends on what you want to do. If you want a job you don't need a graduate degree for then picking a school is more important and taking on debt is not as costly.

Really? The saying goes, 9/10 girls in San Diego are beautiful and the other 1 goes to UCSD.
