You said we're essentially the same team as last year without Lowry. Well last year we were among the better teams defensively in not allowing points. This year we're 29th in points allowed (105) and 26th in rebounding. Somethings wrong. However we're currently 7th in scoring this year and we're one of the worst last year. I'm just saying gotta let the fans react right now before we hit all-star break and there's no point in watching raptor games.
I been thinking the same thing for the past few years. But Casey gave me hope. Now looking at it I think we have some people that should go and we have some keepers.
the past couple of years it was suppose to be rebuilding. we were not in playoff contention and we all knew that. actually before preseason started, people thought we wouldn't make the playoffs and that we are still rebuilding
oh yeah what about all those other teams that have lost to a Bynum-less Philly (Boston)? Or to the Dirk-less Dallas (like Lakers) or the the Love-less Wolves (they beat BKN and IND)?
we should've just let derozan go and keep bayless instead of lowry too right?
i just wish we never made those playoffs back when BC was first signed
it made fans impatient, and put too much pressure on a team to win now, selling the farm rather than trying to develop
and now that we have a team where we got young players, and have resigned others and are building the team the right way for once, like acquiring Lowry, people want to push the panic button
who drafted Jonas?
who traded for Lowry?
who resigned Derozan for discount?
so far what i see are 3 main core pieces moving forward which is much better than we have ever had back in Bosh/VC era
who brought in Dwane Casey?
to all those posters who already want Casey out after just his 2nd season. seeing all sorts of crazy posts throughout the threads about wanting to give Casey the axe or people who are mind boggled by Casey

Raptor Fans.
Create a poll on twitter to see how many people want out, send to all Raptor players as well if your serious, I was thinking the exact same thing (Word to word) and BC needs to go immediately. Im a huge disbeliever of him and always will
We are Anonymous,
We are Legion,
We do not forgive,
We do not forget,
Expect us.
Lowry - injured but extremely effective, team runs very well with him
Fields - injured and ineffective, no denying it, has to regain rookie form to be worth anything to team, WE KNOW WE HAVE A MASSIVE HOLE AT SF
JVal - rookie, growing pains
Ross - rookie, doesn't get a lot of playing time, has to find form off the bench
So the changes haven't had enough time to gel. You're not going to bring in 4 substantial new parts, prevent them from playing together because of injury, and see positive results.
You just aren't.
Panic button "deselect".

I've felt that this team has needed a major overhaul for 6 years so I don't agree that this is a panic thread. I think this summer is a good time for the overhaul so am hoping for this team to not come together this season.
Not to mention that at least 4 of our losses were easily winnable games we ended up losing by 1 or 2 possessions (Utah, Indy, Dallas, BK). Our record looks bad but we could just as easily be 5-3 or 4-4 even with Lowry's injury.
Personally, us being not even 10% done the season, I am not panicking in the slightest right now, especially with the win tonight, and the tough schedule to start the season.
you're very optimistic, nothing wrong with being pessimistic either.
Jonas- rookie, who know what the future holds- what if he never develops a offensive game?
Lowry- could be thinking about his way out in two years
Derozan- he can't do anything in terms of wanting to go anywhere- we own his rights, he knows he got more than he would have gotten on the open market. I still don't think Derozan deserved that contract.
