i'll gladly take garcia with evans...
in fact, i'll take anyone not named salmons along with evans from sactown...

evans is the only 1,2,3 on the trading block that i'd want right now... he's the best fit for washington in terms of all players capable to play the 3 behind lebron, kd, and rudy gay...

    Try this on for size...

Trade machine says this one works:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cd3vy6r

I know Gasol is not getting any younger but he's a much better offensive option than any power forward currently on the roster.

I mean a lineup (when healthy) that looks like this:

    PG - Wall
SG - Beal (I think the kid needs to start)
    C - Nene
    SF - Singleton
    PF - Gasol

...may not be championship material but good enough to make the team watchable and probably even string some wins together.

As for the Lakers, Ariza could flourish in D'antoni's system, provided he can hit open shots. Okafor, on the other hand, would basically be there to spell Howard and to keep Jordan Hill from having to play center. I think with the Wizards Okafor is just in a situation that he's not really suited for. However, as a backup for Superman, he's perfect for that.

The only question is would the Lakers trade Gasol for anything that isn't an expiring contract?

idk i mean if we get pau and use him right he would be a valuable trade asset to flip later on. plus we could pick up a pick from the kings or something or a young player in sending pau to the kings.

only as an expiring contract who might take less money to resign due to being injured.
i would low ball and see if you can grab him, if only to get the cap room.

If we can trade Nene and Ariza or Okefor to the 76ers and some how ( wishful thinking) get a 1st or 2nd its a win as long as the contracts are gone we would win . Some nets fans been really down on trying to get nene and stuff and its very interesting.

    DWill(T-Wolves)
    Cousins
    TEvans
    Bynum

could be guys to look at . If we some how got Bynum and got rid of our big contracts he would have to come re-sign with us to a cheap earn it contract and see if hes worth 80 mil and if "IF" he is healthy than we could not only open our cap but obtain a top 3 C that is only 25 but problem is he is injured and immature.

i'll give you john wall and trevor ariza for bynum, holiday, and turner...
then i'll either amnesty bynum or turn him into a beer guy at the arena...

seriously, you need to give people money to take a cancer like andrew bynum... the only team that should be considering andrew bynum at this point is phoenix with their miracle workers of a medical team....
