Guy just isn't that good. I'm done with the "he's talented" ********. He doesn't get it done consistently.
This is were i totally disagree with you. As you know andrea is one of the only players on our team that gets doubled more often then any other player. "The TEAM" does not create easy chance points or space for him. On a great team, with a true leader and not a bunch of rookies, he would thrive. Andrea wide open would kill you. You can't deny that. Most of his shots have been terrible because of team execution. They don't run or set the right plays for him. They also have no one to draw double teams to leave him open. Thats why lowry is crucial to andrea. He is the only other player that can do that. Just recently derozan has had a few doubles but nothing big imo. Teams know that and they camp out in front of andrea all the ****ing time.

Tyreke Evans has not reached his prime yet and is still young. In his rookie season, he was already better than Andrea and shows flashes of franchise talent.

Andrea has been wide open all season. Nobody has been doubling him at all. His lack of touch and poor shot selection is killing him.

Appreciate the poll, but dislike the options being on such opposite ends of the spectrum. Can't we have a couple other options?

Personally, I think it's time for us to move on from Il Mago. Similar to CB, I don't see the team progressing into contention with Bargnani and his contract.

how long are you going to support a player who just doesn't give a ****? i don't even care that he played bad, its early i could understand a slump. BUT he shows no effort i wished he just sucked and was a horrible player but hes not hes very good but has no heart. hes just happy the game is about to end so he can pickup a random floozy in the club for the night.

that's why he's shouldn't be a #1 option. on this team his negatives outweigh his positives. we need to move in a new direction.

You are by far the most emotionally blinded fan on this forum. There is no way in hell you're older than 25.

My advice: don't ever buy securities or short term investment bonds; with the lack of your nerves your broker would have stopped returning your calls weeks ago just to give you an analogy.

That's my whole problem with Bargs in a nutshell. He has the talent, we've seen him go after rebounds, we've seen him get on it defensively, we've seen him block shots and we've seen him score as though he wasn't being guarded. The problem is that to do these things all at the same time takes mental toughness and a passion for the game that I just don't think he possesses. That's not to say he shouldn't be in the L, but for sure should be a specialist. Honestly we all know that he'd be incredible next to a big man like Dwight or Marc Gasol. On our team he needs to come off the bench because he really doesn't want to do what it will take for the Raps to make a playoff push. Start Amir.

apparently casey on radio today said bargs was the "3rd option". it would explain a lot. he's had bad stretches before but this is different than i've seen him play. he is forcing and rushing everything on offense. last year he was getting the ball more in the post and within the circle. we ran little picks for him to get jumpers. but now...he's basically parked out at the 3 point line. and when he gets it, if he doesn't pass it off immediately, he is rushing his shot afraid he's not going to get it back. and it's effected his entire game.

    so here's the question:

    1. why has bargs role been bumped down in the offense? is casey that high on lowry + derozan backcourt that they can carry the load?

    2. and is this step one in phasing him out of the team picture?

i think it's clear to see from everyone, that his play is just looking downright weird these days...so i'm not sure exactly what's going on. but we need him to turn things around.

That's just it. Every time he's been asked to effect more than one aspect of the game, he just drops 25 and asks why he should have to rebound. Now that his touches are down and he doesn't have as many opportunities to score, nothing about his game is redeeming. This has to be on the coaching staff since they know what they're getting from him. If AB continues to start he needs to have 2 of the first 3 offensive sets run for him because we all know he plays a much better 2-way game when his number is called from the get-go. Part of our offense needs to be getting him the ball in ways that, if he's not scoring, he's at least involved in a play. Let him post and kick, let him get the ball at the elbow with a cutting DD, let him play pn'r with Lowry, all of these are options. He's almost as happy to get a flashy assist as he is to score.

The way I see it is that we should try to have 2 of Bargs, DD and Lowry scoring 20+ per night based on matchups. But if we're not going to put Bargnani in a position to score lots there's no reason to have him on the floor.
