Are you all serious. Bryce Harper didnt deserve anything lol. His name won him ROY. Wade Miley was hands above way more deserving and I don't even like wade Miley.

The only Al surprise in this is Yoenis Cespedes wasn't 2nd or 3rd on all of the ballots. Only Trout (duh) and Darvish was on every ballot. Unless i read that wrong in the article i saw.

He did finish second but didn't receive votes from all of the writers. Darvish did while finishing 3rd. I'm not surprised by that as much as i am by there being writers that didn't have Cespedes in there top 3. Wouldn't mind seeing who left him off.

i don't think Harper was deserving of it. obviously as a Reds fan, I wanted Frazier to win, but I thought that Miley was going to win it.

No, it was close, but Harper was better. Personally, I think Miley would've won it if he didn't have a bad September. But because he pitched poorly in the last month and Harper surged, Harper overtook his spot. Originally Posted by lorneg34

when it comes to something like ROY I think you should look at the entire season of statistics, and not just player did this or that in month whatever.
"Bryce Harper" was a hyped up name. IMO that got him votes from human votes.
no doubt Harper had impressive numbers, even only getting them in 139 games. but I think he got an edge in voting because he is "Bryce Harper".
I'm not saying Miley was robbed. I think they were both deserving, but IMO Miley deserved it a little more.
