    11 sacks total ALL YEAR

Coming into this year, with a new Def coordinator not named Al Davis, naming Dennis Allen as coach....I had my hand up saying this team would average 3-5 sacks per game.

I was wrong. Not only wrong, but waaaaaaaaay wrong. This friggin sucks.

    Sack Total:

    1 vs San Diego
    1 vs Miami
    1 vs Pittsburgh
    0 vs Denver
    1 vs Atlanta
    3 vs Jacksonville
    3 vs KC
    1 vs Tampa Bay
    0 vs Baltimore

We can't win like this. Whose fault is this ? Is the talent not there ? Is it the D-line ? the D coordinator ? the D line coach ? Dennis Allen ?

0 sacks in a game won't cut the mustard in this league. You'll make everybody look bad on defense with no pressure on the opposing QB.

Above all stats, this stat has to change in order to get better.

We need a lot more than that. Not a lot of keepers on D.

Id say Branch (after his new contract) is about it on defense, maybe burris. The rest i would be shopping and, or cutting. Offense is about the same save veld, wiz and denarius moore, maybe myers.

The defense is mainly special teams caliber players getting their golden opportunity to play

I think tyvon Branch stinks. I believe he is totally overpaid, I don't even think he is a top 20 safety.

I would get rid of him also. He never makes big plays. Draft a safety in the fifth rd, and you can get that same performance.

    IMHO

11 Sacks is just really awful for a team.

If you thought last week was bad, wait until this Sunday.

New Orleans isn`t gonna show any mercy.

Oakland is in need of a Genocide.

Your OLB is doing the MLB's job....not good

    Your WLB is a rookie

    Your DT's get no pressure

Your DE's are not pass rushers

We need a DE's that can get after the QB bad and move Houston inside while getting rid of Kelly and Seymour.

Either that or go 3/4 and ask our LB's to bring it. None of them can either...

So yeah, we are screwed. The lines should be our highest priority. Honestly, I am very surprised at how poorly Kelly and Seymour have played.

I would keep houston and play him at DT, keep burris, and mabye matty to get the occasional sack and run stuff.

one problem like many have said...since we run a 4-3 your ends have to be able to generate sacks...they are built more for the run on our team...I think next year we will find someone to be a pass rush specialist via draft or trade or Free agency...Unfortuanetly we are trying to blitz and its pretty easy to tell in a 4-3 who is coming...we cause no confusion at line of scrimmage...and all our guys get locked up by Oline men and titty bump and make no seperation...Tommy kelly and Seymour are the biggest problem in the pass rush...they generate nothing this year..

Hopefully we see Bilukidi and Crawford more the rest of the season.

If we're gonna suck on defense, let's at least find out what we got in these rookie rather than playing guys like Kelly and Seymour so much when they're not gonna be here next year.
