Ok, so everybody is up in arms at how bad the team is. Granted, there are holes, but name a playoff team that does not have one. With that being said, I took a look a last year's scores of games in November. Week 12 last year saw the Super Bowl winning Giants get decimated by the Saints 49-24. The Giants went on to lose 2 more games last season and squeak into the playoffs. When the playoffs start, everybody is 0-0. Baring a catastrophic meltdown, we are on pace to make the playoffs. The only wrench would be Cutler being out longer than just this passed week. Maybe, just maybe, this is what the Bears needed. Maybe they needed to be spanked by a good team for them to start soul searching. Hell, they even held their own vs the Texans. They could have blamed the weather, etc, and left thinking, we are still good. This 49ers game can be a turning point for the Bears season. Will they continue to flounder or will they buckle down and become the Giants of last season? Only time will tell, but remember this, JUST GET INTO THE PLAYOFFS and anything can happen....
