AP really has no shot unless they make the playoffs, statistically he doesn't match up very well with the RBs who have won the award recently:

    2005 - Alexander - 1,900 yards, 5.2 avg, 27 TDs, 3 TDs receiving

    2006 - LDT - 1,800 yards, , 5.2 avg, 28TDs, 500 yards in the air, 3 TDs receiving, 2 TDs passing.

    2012- AP - 1,600 yards, 5.6 avg, 10 TDs

    Thanks for the Memories Suarez!

Oh dang, I had no idea. He needs to compensate for the lack of TDs by hitting 2k.

It's imperative that if he wants to be MVP he'll need 2k and to get his team into the postseason.

No one is playing better than Brady. I only watched a half and the throws he was slinging were perfectly beautiful. AP is playing lights out but Brady will carry this team to a ring.

He has 3 games left. You should have extrapolated out the numbers at least.

I don't think they go back and compare his numbers to other RBs that have won. This isn't the HOF.

He has almost 500 yards his last 3 games with three games to go. Just assume he gets 300 now that's 1900 yards. And if he gets more...we're getting closer to the record. Who knows........if he breaks the record I would vote him.

I was shocked when I saw that

Again I see what your doing.

I have watched football since the early 70s. I can only think of one I would want right now over Brady and he was perfect in the SBs he played in. Its a QB league. I just dont see a RB winning it over Brady and the way he is playing.

    Fair point, very fair.

That being said Ponder is a bottom 5 QB.

Those guys both had Pro Bowl QB's.

Helps open the run game open a bit. Once they get in the RZ you know they're loading the box. Hasselbeck and Rivers could still throw on you. Ponder just throws RZ INTs lol

I mean do we really think, stats aside, Alexander or LT had better season, like do we think they were better players that year than AP is this year? I'm not so sure.

Peterson should win the award hands down. He is that entire team's offense and with Ponder playing poorly and no Harvin could still get them in the playoffs. Remarkable. Just because it is a QB's league doesn't mean a QB should win every award possible for offensive players. Still, I expect Brady or Manning to win the award because QBs are seemingly the pinnacle of everything these days.

We should have a "term limit" on MVPs.

See what I'm doing? I did something with the Von Miller comment, but I don't know what you think I was doing there
