Not convenient at all. I KNEW they were capable of such a showing, given their glaring weaknesses. Same with the Knicks games. (Though I didn't expect us to get beaten THAT badly.)
We're about .500 now. Hopefully no one else comes up hurt.
Nothing we didn't expect. He's injury prone. He's also a top 2 big man when healthy. Like hydro said, gotta ride him out, and what happens, happens.
Also as far as us as a playoff team without him, honestly I don't see it. Never did this season because sans Bynum our big man rotation is Thad Young, Spencer Hawes, and Lavoy Allen. Quite possibly a bottom 5 rotation for starting bigs. And our guard play isn't great enough to overcome a bottom 5 big man rotation like that. I would love to be proven wrong
Dang.. just seen on NBA.com that Bynum's return is pushed back to January...
Very talented......oft injured
It's too bad I would love to see what he could do with full health for a full season.
Well, our first round pick is lottery protected, so assuming we sign Bynum, having a lottery pick + an improved jrue + bynum wouldn't be bad.
Honestly though, if you have any semblance of talent and play hard every night, you might be able to make the playoffs as a bottom feeder. Not saying that is the ideal, but its possible.
I want to see 20 games played before I make any judgments about this team. Obviously losing Iggy and not having Bynum hurts.

And so I have a question for all you historians...
Has there been a team in history who has played, say, 50% of its games without its superstar...that went on to win a Championship?
I honestly have no idea; it's a serious question.
And if the answer is 'no'...who's come closest, and who was the guy?
Probably the bulls in 1995? Mj came back from baseball.... Lost to orlando in the conf finals.... Right?
How many times has a potential contnder been put in such a situation?
The bulls this year....
Who else?
Good question.
-Yeah, MJ's year "off".
-Worthy being hurt during the Sixers run?
-The Celtics in the late 80's vs the Lakers: McHale on a broken foot; Parish, DJ and Ainge on sprained ankles; and Bill Walton with bad feet.
-Frickin' Bynum 2-3 years ago
