explain to me how each of those picks are bad.

Margus has arguebly the biggest ceiling in the draft at DE and has a Knack for taking points off the board(blocking kicks).

some people besides me actually think Richardson is better than Star. stars a solid guy but i think richardson has more potential.

Jacksons a Beast corner and matched up well in the USC game vs 2 NFL Caliber WRs.

Trevado Williams is a lil project but he should be a quality guy that we want at OLB that can rush the passer.

Alford and Commings are both solid defensive backs who can help our defense out. Alfords also a good Return man.

Websters a guy i have a feeling is going to rise up the boards a lil bit once people get some tape on him but judging from his Basketball past is that he can be a good TE project or even use him at DE(he notched up some good numbers for a guy who hadnt played football in 4 years).

Coming into his own as an NFL prospect, Richardson combined his plus physical tools with improved technique and tremendous effort on a per-snap basis. Standing 6034, with long arms and a naturally powerful frame, Richardson more than looks the part of a 3-technique or RDE for some 4-3 teams.

The Missouri DT dedicated himself before the season to taking care of his body, and in a story written by Terez Paylor from The Kansas City Star, dropped down from a 2011 playing weight of 315 pounds to a muscular 295 pounds. In Paylor’s article, Richardson claimed to have improved his bench press from 350 pounds to 400 pounds, in addition to being able to run a 4.7 40 yard dash.

And while those numbers may have seemed out of proportion prior to this season, the tape of Richardson in 2012 versus SEC opponents has done nothing but further evidence this type of elite physical tools. Looking in at the football, Richardson does a great job of timing the snap count, firing off the line with low pad level and extended arms to immediately combat the opposing blocker’s hand usage. Instinctive and reactionary with his hands, Richardson combines his plus foot speed and agility with a developed repertoire of swim moves, rip moves, punch-and-pull moves, and fluid spin moves. Moreover, Richardson is able to anchor against the run, squeeze through double teams, or chase down ball carriers to the sideline, as a well-rounded defensive lineman that can be an every down impact player.

The outstanding quickness and overall speed with which Richardson gets off the line of scrimmage, may even be best suited outside at a defensive end position along a 4-man front. Considering his improving body type, physical numbers, developed repertoire of rush moves and instinctually aggressive nature, Richardson’s ability to provide a threat inside or outside will ultimately place him high on many NFL draft boards.

anyways the only reason he might fall is cuz of academics and such but that aint a huge red flag to me.

Richardson is going to be a good football player, but there is better talent ahead of him. You putting him over Lioteilei and Hankins is laughable to say the least. They are currently the 2 best DT prospects in the draft hands down.

Hopefully Shipley is plays good so he can be our slot guy and I think Elliot can be something. Im hoping this offseason though we can fix our D more that anything. It sucks watching a game when you know they cant stop them.

I think our pass rush will be a little better next year with Branch a year under his belt and Babin with the team. Im hoping in the first 2 picks we get a run stopping DT that can clog the middle and a CB opposite of Cox. Maybe

yet u fail to realize ive mocked us in 20 different spots. richardson is the better dt to me than either star or hankins. stars a solid guy but doesnt have potential to be elite. richardson is probably the most athletic dt in the draft and lead his team in tackles. he plays great and to me is more of an impact to fix our defense instead of star or hankins. richardson is kinda like cox from last year and everyone wanted the jags to take him last year if u couldnt get jb

To say that Star doesn't have the ability to be elite is just nonsense. Because he does have the ability to be elite. Richardson is good, but not as good as Star.
