Jarvis is good in coverage. The thing is we need a pass rush also and I dont believe Te'o can bring that. He has what one sack this year. Also I see Te'o more of a MLB which we dont need right now because Poz has been the best player this year on our D.

Understandable. I am warming to the idea of Jones. I think Te'o will end up being the next Lewis/Urlacher and any team that passes on him will regret it, but I also like him so much I would not want him to get stuck behind Poz here and have his career ruined

If we didnt have Poz and we needed a MLB though I would draft Te'o in a sec.

i think i am in the draft geno smith camp.. we need some excitement and some playmaking on this team in the worst way. i think it is time to move on from gabbert and let henne be the stopgap until geno is ready.

this is a fairly uneducated post tho as i have not seen much of geno smith but from what i have read about him i think i want him on the jags haha

i know this is probably a bad idea but what about drafting Te'o and trying to switch to a 3-4. i know we tried that hybrid b.s before but what about a full switch to a 3-4. now is as good a time as any for a change and poz and te'o would be a pretty damn good mlb combo

could branch be an olb in a 3-4? what about daryl smith? i think our ends are suited pretty well for a 3-4 in lane, mincey, selvie, alualu. knighton/mosley could man the nose tackle.

idk this might be a terrible idea haha i'm just spitballin and having some fun with the possibilities of the draft since i can't really have fun with the current team haha.

umm branch could play olb however poz doesnt play good in the 3-4. i think jarvis jones would work. much better moving into the 3-4. smith would be a better ilb than 3-4 olb.

selvie would be a better 3-4 olb as he really lacks the size to play 3-4 end.

    pick 2. we stick with a 4-3.

round 1: Jarvis Jones OLB Georgia
round 2: Ezekiel Ansah DE BYU
round 3: Brandon Jenkins DE/OLB FSU
round 4: Leon McFadden CB San Diego State
round 5: Margus Hunt TE/DE/DT SMU
round 6: Marcus Davis WR Virginia Tech
round 7: Melvin White CB Louisiana Lafayette

i know that looks heavy at DE but Jenkins and Ansah should be good pass rushers for us. Hunts more of a Project player but he seems like a great athlete and probably could play some TE for us as well as be a Force on FGS with his well noted kick blocking process.

i think he goes somewhere between 25-40. just depends how teams want to draft. with us having pick 33 we will have a good chance at landing him.

keep an eye on Kyle Long from oregon. hes an OT and yes hes related to Chris long and howie long. supposedly has the most natural talent of the 3. currently projected as a 3rd rounder.

Having Geno sit a year behind Henne sounds meh, but we were set on having Blaine sit a year behind Garrard/McCown and look how that turned out.
