IMO...a DE that can get to the QB is our highest need next to OT if we stay 4/3. Our DE's create no pressure and Houston is good enough to move to DT. No need to spend a high pick on a DT unless we are top 5.

A game changing DE will impact multiple positions and our pass rush is our highest need on defense.

If a stud OT is available, that would be my next move.

The game is won at the line period, not at WR/DB/RB etc....

Your opinion is idiotic at best. We need a coach with some fire, first and foremost before we consider any draftees. Bring in GRUDEN.

If you look at the Colts, they have only 15 players who were on the roster in 2011.

It is not impossible to gut the entire team, start from scratch.

This team is done selling tickets lol.

The Colts entire offensive line are either rookies or played for another team the year before, including Oaklands center lol.

The Colts entire secondary minus 1 player, 1st year on the team.

All the tight ends are rookies, All the wide receivers are rookies minus Reggie Wayne.

Dennis Allen will never succeed in Oakland, he was doomed the day he was hired.

I can agree with that, I am actually surprised we haven't cut more contract players so we can get rid of their cap burden sooner rather than later. We are a horrible team right now and need a lot of roster moves. One of the only guys we brought in who we thought would fit the system is Breisel and he looks awful.

Bottom line is we need a lot of help - and it will take some time to build around our new system. That being said I hope we get a top 3 draft pick and maybe someone will throw lots of value at us for it since that is the most valuable thing we have to offer (Like what the redskins gave up for RGIII)

It amazes me how many Raiders fans STILL think it's realistic that Jon Gruden will ever return as head coach.

    I know right? It's laughable....

Don't be surprised to see him in SD next year with Rivers.

    That wouldn't surprise me either.

And I'd gladly take Andy Reid at OC if that was at all possible

You know Gruden would love to have the job, Oakland lacks the balls to swallow some pride. This is another Raider loss, to which we`re so accustomed to.

Gruden would fill the stadium, employ worthy coaches and train smart football players. Dennis Allen is way over his head, I feel sorry for the guy actually.

    Strengths......

LT, C, QB, TE, WR, FB, Dline asside from a lights out pass rusher, OLB, SS, CB Bartell/ Hanson and Huff played well minus Giordano blowing coverage over the top on both touchdowns. Our biggest issue is Knapp not knowing how to manage a ball game.

Did I say GRUDEN was coming back? I said we need a coach with fire, like GRUDEN. We should bring him back, but I know he won't be back because Mckenzie will give Allen two more years. Learn how to read duffus, before u suggest moronic sig bets. Until then u GTFO.

^^ I think DA has fire. Fire isn't the problem IMO.

The lack of talent defensively and misuse of what talent offensively we have is the problem.
