Just how good of a pro will Brett Hundley Make?

I know some of you east coast guys may not have seen the Red shirt Freshamn out of UCLA, but he is doing some amazing things.

He is the most natural QB Ive EVER seen.
Tonight in the first half he is 10 for 10 for 160 yards and 3 TDs.

The Bruins are averaging 500 + yards a game of offense and the kid is playing like a senior.

Brett Hundley is literally UCLA's savior. If Rick Nueheisel had played him last year he might still have his job...

He really impresses me.
he is incredibly fluid in the pocket, he NEVER hurries anything. he has the ability to keep his eyes down field while hes moving in the pocket, he can pull it down and run ,not quite like Cam or RG3 but hes certainly no slouch.His first ever college snap he ran for a 70+ TD.
He has great touch, and he reads the field.
The guy just turned 19!!!
He has to play a soph year at least right, so we'll see him again, but personally I hope he stays at least through his Junior year.

If we're talking about freshman QBs the conversation has to start with Johnny Football. Very similar passing stats to Hundley but he's in the brutal SEC and he's among the best running QBs in college football. The only downside is his height (6'1'').

I think youll find the Pac 12 is a nightmare this year.
Sc,stanford,Oregon, oregon st,Arizona, arizona state, ucla,
have all spent time in the top 25 this year.

A&M has always fielded a strong team historically although the last few seasons have been hard for the aggies.Hes a good QB, Ive watched him play, but IMO as good as he is ,he doesnt LOOK the same as hundley.

The kid looks like hes sipping on a malted outside a burger joint.
Its unatural.....like hes emotionally disconnected from reality,even when he takes a hit, there is no tensing at the last moment or panicked throws, its like it was part of the game plan to take a hit this time, and the next throw is gonna be for a 22 yard gain.

his rating is slightly higher then johnnys and he has 7 or so more TDs.

but youve got a winner over there no doubt.

I'm more impressed with Manziel than with Hundley and to an extent I'm more impressed with Mariotta of Oregon than Hundley as well.

I said Ive watched both of them and Hundley is a more natural talent.
Im noticing how your cherry picking stats to build a case.
BCS changes dramatically with each loss so using that instead of AP or coaches poll is a very obvious reach.As well as the fact that 7 pac 10 teams have lost to each other knocking them out of the top 25.
There are no south eastern luisiana poly techs in the pac 10 to get fat on.

Im not interested in rushing stats or team records.
Im talking about the individual acomplishments of the players thus far.UCLA is far from stacked offensively, their leading rusher isnt even projected to go higher then the 4th rd next year.
they dont have a reciever that will be drafted either,
they have one kid a TE and Hundley hardly goes to him.

the young man is playing at a very high level.

The only thing I was trying to point out is that A&M has a very long history of fielding a strong Football team.
I lived in Dallas for 4 years, in the 90s and remember when the Texas/A&M game was a hoty contested affair year after year.

UCLA, while having some success over the years with their Football program, its been quite a few years since theyve been relevant.

Jim Mora has got these kids playing well,but Hundley is far and away the biggest reason the Bruins have been winning.They still have games against Stanford and USC and they could easily lose both, but it wont be because Hundleys play.

I expect him to win a heisman if he plays 4 years.

I haven't watched him at all, but his stats are pretty good. I'm more shocked at how bad USC's been.
