I made my best gains when I started to eat more and cut down to 4 days of training a week.
People can overtrain for months and make some progress, but it will eventually catch up. You know you are overtraining when you arent making any progress and joint health becomes an issue. More often than not, injuries occur from overtraining moreso than bad form.
It is better to lift for tomorrow than just today
Ive put on about 15lbs in the last 4 or so weeks now in my bulk out and im lifting more weight than i ever have... Only thing is I have noticed my stomach is getting a little bigger, losing some defintion in my shoulder & thigh areas..

I upped my bench to 235 at 3 reps as well. On the 3rd I thought my spotter helped me so I racked it but he said he didn't lift it at all.

Ive had tons of spotters over the years, I can tell you just about every time they touched the bar they pulled some weight up. Of course they object they didnt help at all, "it was all you bro".
A good spotter does not touch the bar unless it is going south or not moving up. Its not as if you miss a rep, you are going to crush yourself.
What's up with these Cambridge scientist.... They are in the business of making people strong? Or just feeding you BS
