    Andre Ethier

Word has it the Dodgers would consider trading outfielder Andre Ethier. Not sure what it would take. Castellanos, Garcia, Porcello?

That would be a huge overpay for an expensive platoon OF

    He can't hit LHP...like...at all.

But let me get this straight, you would trade NC and Garcia for Ethier but not Upton? What the...

No. If the Tigers are trading for someone give me Upton, otherwise sign Hunter/Melky.

After a little research, I may have been a little overzealous in my proposal. I wouldn't trade Nick C for either of them.

With that contract they should be trying to give Ethier away, or possibly exchange bad contracts with someone.

Ethier is over rated. Can't hit lefties and while he is sure handed in the OF, his range is limited. Combine that with his contract, I am not interested unless it is a salary dump. He really would not be an upgrade on dirks.

    Ethier is a bum.

I traded him in fantasy baseball this year because he had his famous hot start and turned him into David Price. Still laughing about that trade.

    no thanks

If he was a FA I'd take him for 2 or 3 years, but not at his current contract and giving up any good prospects.
