I really think there has to be more life outside of this universe? I mean we are so small in the scheme of things. It be cool if we could peacefully communicate with another universe. It would certainly answer a lot of questions, and probably probably a lot of medical and technology advancement for one or the other universe.

I believe there is other intelligent life in this galaxy, but I don't think anything has come to Earth yet. I thought it was just a piece of debris even before the expert said it was, but I guess that wouldn't explain how it happens exactly at 1 pm every day. My guess is it's probably an Earth made object though it is possible it doesn't belong to the US and is untraceable.

because the incredibly vast distances that exist in the universe.the question of how would they know we exist? the furthest man made signal is barely past alpha centauri.so anyone outside of that zone still wouldnt know that there is anything to look at in this corner of the galaxy(and they's have to focus in on our direction,they could divert any satellites to scan a different part of the sky).interplanetary capabilities are only a part of the equation that would need to be in place to encounter another intelligent lifeform
