.Andrew Wiggins, considered to be the No. 1 player in high school basketball, will soon decide whether to reclassify into 2013.
“I think his parents are going to try and come down in the next couple weeks and they have to make that decision,” Huntington (West Va.) coach Rob Fulford said. “Andrew’s really at this point, he doesn’t want to make any decisions without his parents, which is obviously a smart move on his part. He just has to get in front of his parents and they need to have a conversation to get that process started on exactly what it’s going to be.”
Wiggins already has most of the core classes he needs to qualify for NCAA standards, Fulford told USA TODAY.
"He has eight classes a day, and there's not a lot of fluff classes," Fulford said. "He has one art class, but the rest are are core classes. He could reclassify, but it's easier if he decides one way or the other now so we can concentrate on the season."
