shakeup the starters?

slow starts on d and o, casey might shake it up on saturday. my thoughts, put in amir and alan anderson. amir knows the defensive system better then young big v and aa is a better 3pt shooter then fields, which will help the starting unit with spacing. i honestly eventually see dd at sf and ross at sg with val at center but probably only next year. thoughts?

The most annoying part on the defensive end is watching our bigs hedge on the pick and roll and not be able to get back. Amir has been the best big on getting back and really our best defensive big overall. With that being said, there is just no way Bargs comes off the bench.

I agree with Saddler, AA will come in if anything.

I think Lowry , DD , Kleiza , Amir , Bargs . then Calderon , Ross , AA , Davis , JV . Let JV and Ross feast on the backups . On the first line if Bosh can play center so can Bargs at least for now .

I'm a pretty huge fan of Alan Anderson and his story, but honestly... if we're 1-4 and every night in the NBA is a tough night for this franchise, why aren't we playing our 8th overall draft pick. I understand that there was an injury, but I think he's fine now. 8 minutes a game, and practice, isn't enough for this kid. Taken at 8, there should be higher expectations, and the kid should at least be given the chance to fulfill those expectations. Seems to me that management is filling out the starting line-up card; Fields is God-awful and managements mistake is only being made more evident by playing him. Amir looks like a beast this year! He really has put the work in over the summer, and it's showing (he's huge!). He should start with Val coming in against 2nd units (I know we're all optimistic, but Val's not getting the calls, and is being eaten out there). Also, Ed should be coming off the bench quick if Bargs is missing assignments and not producing.

i cannot see ross starting this year. he is not ready to be a starter yet, it would be foolish to throw him in there to get eaten alive. his role this year is a shooter off the bench.

i agree with you about amir. i have always been a fan of his, i have always liked him more than davis, and i agree he should be starting over val right now.

Ross is a kid that is a developmental player, just like Val, it'll take a few years until he starts. (when i say val, i mean that after he was drafted, he stayed in Europe a year.. Ross will spend a year or 2 on the bench)
