Well Herm was traded for a 4th round pick. And his team gave up on him much the same way these Jets are sinking with Rex. Under Herm the Jets played ok and slipped into the playoffs exactly like the Jets did with Rex.

Mangini was a tyrant. But he built the foundation that made the playoffs 2 years in a row under rex.

If Favre hadnt hurt his arm there is no telling how far that team could have gone.

Mike T and Bradway pull (ed) the strings in the draft.

That is not up for debate. Mangini, Edwards and Rex had(have) very little say at all, unless you consider 1 draft pick each draft alot of input.

Mike T chose fine with QCoples and DDavis, they were after Mangini.
I believe SHill will pan out after he works on his hands this offseason, Mangini wasn't there for that.
Mo Wilk was a quality pick, as was SGreene whether you like it or not, the Jets do not make their playoff runs at the time without him.
Kyle Wilson is a solid NB, some of you may whine about him, but you're the same people that expect every DB to be Revis or Cro.
Kerley has been a good player this year, don't front.

In hindsight, it looks like the Jets have drafted decently since Mangini has been gone.

What you fail to realize is the Jets had MORE draft picks when Mangini was here, which is why they were able to acquire Brick and Mangold, they were lucky to acquire TJones (at the time) without it costing them a draft pick.

Also remember the Jets traded up to draft Revis, and if you believe Mangini had the power to trade draft picks in the Jets organization, then I have some beachfront property I'd like to sell you.

Come to think of it, since you want to give Mangini credit for draft picks, "his" selection of Gholston set the Jets back years in finding a pass rusher, of which they are still looking.
