Ken Macha has had some success. Took Oakland to a division title twice out of 4 years in the early 2000s, but recently stuggled in a couple of years with the brewers. I would mind him coming here

As it was in the other thread, my vote is still for Luis Rivera.

I read that about Macha I think he could be a possibility definitely. He has a career 540 winning percentage, 568 with Oakland.

I completely forgot about Sal!!! I wonder if a mod would be able to add Sal onto the poll list and maybe reset the poll.

OZZIE!!!! He brings winning experience and swagger... you need swagger to take on the yanks and red sox.
Kramer Champlin scared the "Devil" right out of the Tampa Bay Rays' team name.
Kramer Champlin once struck out 27 batters in a game... using wiffle balls.

He's also mentally ill and would be absolutely awful with the media.

Toronto media with a hot-headed skipper is a horrible combination (see Valentine and Red Sox media for further details)

there was a suspicion that he ordered his pitcher to hit bautista because he hit one-too-many home runs against his team a couple of years ago (Although he never admitted it ). I guess if it was on purpose then that would qualify as 'swagger'.

But he doesn't meet your qualifications.

I think now we know why AA was taking his time with the manager. Now it makes a ton of sense to go with an experienced manager considering we're in win-now mode.

Before the trade took place, a person with Blue Jays reached out to longtime Braves manager and former Toronto manager Bobby Cox to determine his interest in returning to the Blue Jays, Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports reports.

he Blue Jays called right after their opening emerged and heard that Cox wasn’t interested, David O’Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (on Twitter). Cox told MLB.com's Mark Bowman that he plans to stay retired. “I really don’t know what else to say,” Cox said.
