The production we've gotten from Turner is unacceptable from an NFL starter. He's had his moments but come on, this is getting ridiculous.

I'm on the Snelling bandwagon and the Antone Smith bandwagon. Hell, I'd honestly put Quizz out there every down than Turner every down. At least Quizz is elusive. Turner is fat and slow.

I thought Rodgers looked really good.
So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

The final stats will annoy any Falcons fan.

Total Yds: ATL 454, NO 440
    3rd Down: ATL 8-14, NO 4-10
Red Zone: ATL 3-6 (missed opportunities), NO 2-3
    Turnovers: ATL 1, NO 1
QB Sacks: ATL 1, NO 1
Time of Poss: ATL 32:25, NO 27:25

    Maybe most importantly...

-Rodgers: 3 carries for 29 yards, 4 receptions (on 4 targets) for 33 yards
-Turner: 13 carries for 15 yards, 0 receptions (on 1 target) for 0 yards

On those 3rd and 1's why not just let Ryan sneak it? Probably better chance of getting the 1st down/TD than letting Turner touch the ball.

Possibly lack of trust in our front 3, or such a sour taste from the Giants game we refuse to do it.

I just think it's ridiculous how the team is forced to throw on those situations because of their lack of faith in the running game.

Did anyone read Mike Smith's post game comments?

I read them, and it seemed like he was putting the blame on the O-Line instead of the backs (specifically Turner) before watching the tape. There is some truth to that, but all he has to do is look at how the opposing RBs were able to turn nothing into something when their lanes closed. How many times did we see Ivory or Ingram change directions or break a tackle when they hit a wall? The Falcons didn't/don't have that luxury, so they either have to be more creative on short yardage runs (with formation and/or personnel) or just put it in Ryan's hands. Lining up to run Turner straight ahead for a couple yards, when the defense knows what's coming, has not worked for this team in recent years.
