8-1 ain't bad...cheer up guys...at least the undefeated talks will end now...albeit it does come on the week where Roddy said undefeated was possible
Look!! You can see the exact moment his little heart breaks =)
Two chances actually, but their secondary stepped up the first time deep in their own territory.Originally Posted by dee279

Adding another TE wouldn't change anything because the opposition still doesn't have to respect the run.

Without our best player on D and missed Julio for a whole quarter and some and we still almost win. Now its time to see how the team handles a loss.

Had our chances at the end but didn't get it. If we had run better then def been a diff game...
You can't say that because even you were talking about adding guys like Chris Ivory. Bottom line is we have enough pass catchers, arguably a Top 2-3 receiving core in the league... but also have nothing worthy of respect in the backfield. Nothing. The O-Line is opening lanes, Turner is just too slow to get to them. The problem is the backs themselves, you conceded that a while back. It's not even up for debate really.Originally Posted by dee279
Ryan threw for 411 yards. Turner ran for 15 yards on 13 carries. That isn't the O-Line's fault.

Yes i said Ivory would be nice but the Saints wouldnt have allow led us to trade for him. Also on alot of the runs we had today and all season, idc if we had AP as our RB, we wouldnt have gotten anything. But yes Turner sucks and Ivory would have been nice to have but u can not tell me our o line is not a problem.
O yes like Matt Ryan didnt have any pressure on him. We have 2 weak lineman in Konz and Mclure, Clabo is not playing well this season, Baker has actually been pass blocking better then run blocking. You make it seem like just because they blocked formidable in the passing game that it means they blocked well in the running game. Its 2 different blocking styles.
My point being you were basically acknowledging that RB was the #1 problem by suggesting they get someone like Ivory, or all those discussions about drafting a RB a few months ago. Cook wasn't even mentioned in here until those trade demands surfaced out of nowhere, yet for whatever reason TE suddenly becomes the top need this season? Also I never said I didn't have concerns about the O-Line, I've made plenty of threads and posts about it. But the lack of talent at RB hurts this offense more than the lack of pro-bowl linemen. You can have the best OL is the world but if you keep relying on a RB who is slow, can't cut, and has no vision because he's a straight line runner, your offense will suffer.Originally Posted by dee279
