I think Luck is definitely the best QB to come out of the draft in quite some time. I foresee a quick rise to stardom and a long prosperous career. I wouldn't yet trade Brady for Luck because of the command Brady has on this offense, but in a year or 2, definitely.

I think you all overrate Luck and underrate Brady. Luck has a 79 rating 10 TD's and 9 INT's. Hardly lighting it up. RGIII has actually been much better than Luck has been this year.

Have you actually watched a single game he's played? There's a difference between how Luck is compiling his stats and how Mark Sanchez is.
He's a rookie. None of that is an indictment on his talents. Go back and look at Peyton Manning's rookie season, for example.
If you watch him (I've watched 3 Colts games, I was even at their win against GB so maybe that has me drinking the Kool Aid) and you'll see the tools, upside and talent he has slap you in the face. It's obvious how good this guy is going to be. He's still figuring things out, and it's definitely an adjustment, but he's as well-rounded of a QB to come out of college in a long time.
Think long-term, and this is a no-brainer. Luck's value right now is great than Brady's.

I don't recall refuting the fact that Luck is more valuable than Brady. Of course he is, that's pretty evident to anyone. Football players don't get more valuable as they get older. And yes obviously the price to obtain him even now would be insane, again I don't recall stating otherwise. I simply stated that at this given moment I would not pull the trigger. I'm sorry you opted to over analyze my post. This tread after all, is a fantasy.

Well last year, he didn't really have anyone who could really stretch the field. He's got Lloyd this year and they haven't really connected the way everyone hoped but they haven't exactly tried to go deep that much either. But if you watch Brady throw, he's certainly still got the arm- a lot of his deep balls seem to be overthrown this year.
Patriots Forum HOF Class of 2011
Who honestly wouldn't?![]()
Steve Young wasn't yet Steve Young when Montana was dealt. Just a promising guy coming off a really meh early career.
Johnny Unitas
Sonny Jurgensen
Y.A. Title
Norm VanBrocklin
Fran Tarkenton
all HOF'ers were dealt. Kurt Warner was let go, and someday, don't laugh, he'll be a HOF too. There are plenty of others including Bledsoe.

Right. Brady is wild deep - indicates strength, but not touch. He's throwing into the ground on one side, and floating the ball on the other side.
I heard from my x Pats friend/and current around the team guy about a week ago that Brady has had a number of scopes in his shoulder. It's clean and tight now, but, it keeps going in the crapper.

I dunno why anyone would laugh at Kurt Warner being HOF. He was the best QB in the league for 4 years in his career (unless you're a huge Favre homer), 2 time MVP, Super Bowl MVP, and took another dead-*** franchise to the Super Bowl. I think he was the best in the league in the late 90s (Favre included). I think most people take it as a given that he's in.
