Carson Palmer is on pace to break Raiders single season records

IMHO the only reason why Carson's QB play in 2012 could not be considered in the "elite" conversation are his ill-timed misfires and lack of production in the Red Zone, that aside he has been very good, and much better than I envisioned when this nonsense of playing in a mobile pocket and countless naked boots was discussed earlier in the season.

He has been strong leader, and its my hope that the Raiders can assemble a decent team around him before father time beckons.

I have been impressed with his play for the most part this year, he needs better WR's and a reliable tailback.

Give this man his due. He's on pace for 4700 yards this season, which would be an Oakland QB record. What more would you want in a QB?
