Carson Palmer is on pace to break Raiders single season records

Give this man his due. He's on pace for 4700 yards this season, which would be an Oakland QB record. What more would you want in a QB?

RushNFL even said ''Palmer is one of the best QBs of the year''

I'm sorry....did you really just ask what we could possibly want more than a single season yardage record? Does anyone really give a **** about yardage records?

I'd rather have wins and a title.

If Palmer was playing CB, I'd blame him for the 3-5 record.

He's not, however, and while he's thrown some mind-melting interceptions, the lack of a running game and the lack of pass defense has been the real cause of the Raiders demise.

He's doing his job, even if nothing around him is working.

Its a process. Baby steps here. In 5 to 7 years this will all come together. All we have to do is totally get rid of all current players and replace them with new players that fit RM's and Allen's system.

    just messin......

Shame...outside of exaggerating the time needed to turn things around, you were starting to make sense.

THIS RIGHT HERE. Totally agree with Stork. Yeah, Palmer throws the ball for a lot of yards this year...who cares when the offense can't score a damn TD in the redzone, plays for FG's, and eventually loses the games. Palmer will get the franchise record with a 5-11 record... (I'm hoping not that bad of a record, but I was at the Bucs game...what a sad performance by the defense...and very inconsistent offensive play).

well one of the only... would like to see Miles develope with Curry and Taiwan Jones win the HB spot - maybe Berg win the RT spot - to narrow our draft picks down to around 20 needed to be a super bowl contender

The biggest thing hurting Palmer is the failure of the run game. He has played well i just wish he would take shorter completions sometimes and move the chains.

First I agree that its awesome but it sucks that he threw an intrception in a crucial moment twice...It was on his shoulders twice but nope...So far he is like ROMO in other words I just need to seem him finish some games for us if he has opportunity to put the game on his shoulders then at the end I want a W...

Breaking a record is awesome but people threw for over 5,000 recently so meh. The only TEAM record im thinking of is SuperBowl Wins. Plain and Simple.

Im with Hawaii Style hope all those players do pan out for us....Honestly Im really excited for TJONES...I hope he can take the hits.

His numbers are amazing especially with the lack of reciever depth, dropped passes ,bad routes and Oh yeah ,no running game. I'm certain he would give all those stats back if it meant more wins and a chance at the play-offs and beyond.
