My man Mitch! Current Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels for Republican Party in 2016.

I wish he would have ran this year, Romney would have stood no chance against him for the Republican nomination. Republican Party wanted Daniels as there nominee badly, much better option then Romney.

It Mitch runs it will be a blood bath. GOP would be slaughtered again.

I read her book "The Two Income Trap", to be honest It was a good read and I have nothing else to back up my opinion of her. Is she crazy?

Obviously some people like her, but I think she plays up the populist thing way too much. And, Harvard listed her as a minority because she was supposedly 1/32 Cherokee Indian, although there is zero proof to back that up.

She's crazy. I really really dislike her. She would be a terrible candidate IMO.

I think it will be Marco Rubio (President) and Rand Paul (VP) going against Martin O'Malley (President) and Cory Booker (VP). I think Rubio and Paul would likely win and I would probably vote for them.

Yes you can be VP even if you've served your two terms. However, should something happen, Obama would be skipped in the line of succession and it would go straight to the Speaker of the House.

Then what would be the point of nominating him? I know the VP is president of the senate, but the senate doesn't tie often enough to actually give him any power, so I see it just as a back up plan in case the President dies

I don't think the Republicans will run someone who has tried before and failed. I think the party wants to go in a new direction, someone like Rubio, Christie, or Jindal. And if Kerry gets the Secretary of State job in the second Obama administration, I could see Scott Brown reclaiming his senate seat, and maybe be a dark horse candidate for 2016 or 2020

VP can be a very powerful office, depending on the President. See: Cheney, Dick.

I doubt Huntsman gets the nod since he is kind of similar to Romney. But I would love to see him run again. He's probably my favorite Republican candidate in recent years.
