Injuries aside, I don't know why we think he wouldn't.

If Datko can stay healthy, huge if, he has starter potential.

Newhouse is a valuable swing tackle.

Bulaga COULD move to LT if we really wanted.

Ted will take another OT in the draft almost certainly.

I think we hand him the job and take someone very late. Maybe even UDFA. Could end up being a comp. I'm not worried about EDS anymore.

I just think its funny to say "hes not what he once was" off of half of year of inconsistent play, which hes picked up.. His career has been great outside of a few games, so if the price is right id sign him.. Now I know we probably wont, but signing Long will be better than anybody we get next year at LT.
