now speaking, do you think Zito's contract was worth it?

No but I promised myself if we won the World Series this year I wouldn't ***** about his contract ever again
Who knows, maybe if you didnt sign Zito you wouldnt be anywhere near the world series
We won 2 World Championships in the Barry Zito era. Yes, it was worth it to have Zito on the payroll.

I'm thinking hell ****ing yeah it was. We sure didn't get much value out of him, but odds are we wouldn't have won 2 World Series without him.

Zito pitched the biggest game this season. He came up big with the bat. He got the team back on track after a slow start early this season. He helps this team win.
SF era championsips without Zito=0. With Zito=2. Nuff said.
Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what more you can ask from someone than to contribute in one of the largest ways to winning a World Series. If Zito wouldn't have pitched his *** off in that game 5, we wouldn't be here. Then he beats the best pitcher in baseball in a duel in game 1(and gets a key hit in both games).
I've counted down the years of Zito's contract from the beginning and been one of his biggest haters. I will never love Zito, but was it worth it to have him on the team... Yes.
It's easy to say its worth it now, he helped win a World Series and the contract is almost over. That being said, tht contract never should have happened, but it's over. This Postseason was great closure on the Zito situation.

I get this strange feeling that Zito will be re-signed and retire as a Giant
Baseball is over. My softball league is over. I am now officially depressed...
I will say this, I believe he pitched the 2 most important games in our postseason run and was great in both. We don't win this 1 without him for sure.
