Brewer was the wildcard in this one. When the rockets were making their run in the 3rd...he got a couple of steals and big time blocks to put us back on track. His slashing was much better in this one.
Ty was very aggressive in this one..and that's what we NEED. nearly got a double double with 8 assists and 21 points..
Dre didn't get any points on only 2 shots...but got 5 rebs on 7 assists.
Gallo is still struggling from distance..but he picked up a double double with 13 points and 10 rebs.
If you aren't getting it done in one aspect...find something else to back it up. That's what I like to see from Gallo.
Couple of blocks on harden and caused what 5 turnovers
I know he turned the ball over 5 times...but he did pick up 3 steals. His defensive presence was definitely known. Harden wasn't really comfortable at all..the hottest guy in the NBA cooled off by Igua.

I did miss game 7...just didn't have enough juice...maybe i checked the score earlier than I should or something.
Mcgee's rebounding numbers will hurt because of all the blocks that he attempts, puts him out of position for rebounds. As good as Faried was, he still has some work to do. He missed quite a few lay-ups. The entire team needs to go back into the gym and work on their free throws. Faried 2-7 Lawson 0-4, going to hurt in close games. The team appears to be clicking now though, once Gallo gets on track, watch out!
I thought Denver looked good for the most part, except in the third qtr.
Brewer played well and did what his role requires him to do. Be that energy spark when the team seems to be in a lull.
Gallo seems to be struggling at the moment but also seems to step up in the critical moments. his tip-in off a missed free throw was huge and then he buried a three. In a game where he looked to be a non-factor he still managed a double-double. I think that bodes very well for the future.
Faried was UNBELIEVABLE last night. His block on Harden was HUGE. Granted his free-throws were hard to watch but his energy was just unmatched.
McGee played well again. He made some critical shots and while he does at times get out of position on D, he manages to force people to change shots. this is not a stat so no one can see it on paper but when he is guarding the paint, people dont drive as much. And a great rejection on the Harden drive as well.
Ty was Tynomite last night. Good to see him play like that, it's what we expect from him, Lin just could not guard him.
Iguodala was masterful on D. Looks like he is starting to gel better with the team. There were still a couple of times where he committed himself expecting to be able to dish the ball and players weren't where he expected them to be, causing a turn-over but this will get ironed out as the season progresses.
K2 was ok. I think that is probably how his game will always be. No one expects him to ever be a superstar in the league but he gets the job done.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks the refs dont respect the Nuggets? The offensive foul on Iguodala against Harden was, to me, unbelievable. Harden leans over Iguodala, Iggy simply stood up and they clashed heads (slightly, unlike the reaction) and Iggy gets called for an offensive foul??? WTF?
Then Miller gets pushed in the back by Harden, falls into a Houston player and gets called for the foul. Come on man!
While I don't share the same strong sentiments of Kalen concerning Koufos...check it out here
He really isn't a starting center...pretty much everybody in here has known that...but I still believe he does the best job putting himself in position to make a play. Whether or not he makes it...is a completely different story.
At this point..I think it's just a waiting game with Karl and McGee...Karl waited with Faried then figured out sitting Faried isn't helping him or your team..
As long as Koufos continues hitting the boards...we get value somewhere.
Poor Mozzy though..hasn't sniffed the court..and I'm not sure he is going to anytime soon...even if he is healthy.
