As expected, Raptors rule out Lowry for tonight's game.

Winnable game. I expect Demar and Bargs to take advantage of their matchups.

he's still learning. most people would be dumb to think he'd just come in and be Dwight Howard on defense. In a few years he'll be a good defender, but dont expect him to be one now. He'll get his blocks, but he'll get abused now and then

I like our chances tonight with Dirk, Brand, and Marion all out for the Mavs. Sucks that Lowry isn't playing because if he was, there would've been a much greater chance of us winning. I like Jose, but he just doesn't push the ball as much as Lowry does. Jose is more slow and steady offensively, but with absolutely zero defense.

Anyways, here's to a win tonight... Go Raps!!!

He's a rookie, he's gone up against 4 of the stronger/tougher C's (Hibbert, Lopez, Pekovic & Perkins) needs to get stronger and more familiar with the defensive schemes.

He's doing pretty damn good considering

    Example:

Pekovic numbers against Val: 15 pts, 6-11 shooting, 3 reb.

Pekovic numbers against Lopez: 21 pts, 9-15 shooting, 7 reb.

Mayo, Collison & Crowder have been big for Dallas. They are 3-1 without Dirk.

Anything that result in less of Fields would be a blessing, Can't have the 2 worst starters in the League now.

    Some other numbers for consideration

    Pekovic 280 lbs
    Lopez 260 lbs
    Jonas 230 lbs

The size differential is a huge factor. Outside of being out matched physically he did a great job using his length & positioning to seal one of the better offensive rebounders in Pekovic off the boards.

I'm sure Lopez against Pekovic didn't get to the line 15 times in their match up along with getting the benefit of rookie calls. Both Jonas fouls on Lopez in the NJ match were clean, wish I knew how to post video's to illustrate the point.

    NBA.com says he's 230. Besides that fact, he doesn't look 260.

Watching him I would say 240-45.

Lopez is 260, when matched up against, he looked the same size to you?.
