ESPN: Danny Granger out 3 months

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/86...ction-3-months

The Indiana Pacers expect to be without Danny Granger for approximately the next three months after the star forward had an injection to treat patellar tendinosis in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday.

Granger had the injection on Tuesday. It was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Granger originally suffered his knee injury during last spring's Eastern Conference semifinals. The team announced late last month that he was sidelined indefinitely because of his sore left knee.

He averaged a team-best 18.7 points per game last season. The Pacers are 2-2 this season without their star small forward.

Granger has averaged 18.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in seven NBA seasons, and though he played through the injury in May, it flared up again while he was doing offseason workouts. In September, he underwent blood-platelet treatment.

With this news I am quite sure we finish ahead of Indiana now.

Bulls and Knicks I believe will be battling it out for the 3 and 4 spot.

I don't like seeing a guy get hurt, but won't be crying for them with our injury plagued past and present.

Now my fantasy team will remain dominant with Paul George and Roy Hibbert carrying the load.

Yesh, yeah now I'm thinking we'll win the division now which would put us as what... no lower than the 3rd seed? Or 4th?

no lower than the 4th seed in terms of the playoff bracket, but the 5th seed could still have HCA if it comes down to record

I can only see Miami, NY and Boston ahead of us. We may be as good as Brooklyn with no Rose.

I always thought the Bulls would have a better record than the Pacers.

I have no doubt we'd finish 1st in the division with or without Granger being injured for Indiana. They aren't that good. C'mon.
