I have zero faith left in BC. Especially since he wanted Steve Nash over Kyle Lowry. This guy needs to ****in go. And Landry needs to go with him
I don't think this is correct. I heard an interview with Lowry and he said they wanted to trade for him earlier and were honest with that they were going after Nash as well as a UFA. Lowry wanted to be the number one guy and said no to a trade with Toronto at that time. I don't think this was choosing Nash over Lowry. They had to go after Nash because he was better for the franchise... Lowry was better for the cause of winning. It has been said that R Petite wanted Nash more than BC... We will never know. I personally would loved both.

I think the Hawks definitely saw him as a centre and they wanted to pick him.

He got overpaid to block Nash from NY, clearly Toronto feels his contract was worth doing that.

History does tend to repeat itself with BC.

I suppose the 1 bad outweighs the 1-2 good he does for the team?

Yup. Chilsolm put it bluntly, BC is trying but the disappointments keep on coming to address that glaring hole in the line up.

I think Marion was the only one legit but it was just short lived.

I hope BC should not restrain himself for making that big move and once for all obtain someone that can take this team over the top.

He has assets now but if he fails before 2/15/13 then I think it's about time that ownership should assess his employment status.

BC is actually very good for the most part in terms of trades, and drafting (though the Ross pick was questionable). His big FA signings are the ones that end up backfiring.

The Ross pick is still very soon to judge. It's just too bad that the coin flip didn't turn our way, we could have gotten Barnes. I do agree though that for the most part, his picks were decent. The trades were not that bad but not that great as well with the exception of Lowry.

IMO his biggest flaw is giving out ridiculous contracts to mediocrity. What I am impressed is that he does know how to correct his mistakes with most of his moves.

Overall his performance as the GM of the Raptors will be judge on how many times he led this team to the playoffs. This season he basically put his GM life on the line by saying before the start of the season that he wants to fast track the rebuilding process and aims to make the playoffs.

Stefanski, what do you think of him as the replacement if it comes to a point that ownership is already fed up of BC?

He's always overpaid as a GM for some reason. That's why while I think he's a solid GM, we need an assistant GM to keep him level headed.

I also agree that he knows how to correct his mistakes. It just really sucks all of his risky moves end up backfiring on him.

I'm not a fan of Stefanski. I think we need another assistant GM.

I hope he does restrain himself. When he was un-restrained he went out and got Hedo.

Haha, that's very true. I hope he get his "one time", it could be his last time to go all in .

At this point I'd make up some sort "hand issue" as well!

When you shoot an airball you have to dry your hands as if the ball slipped...
