Got a chance to read this article and I'm wondering everyone's thoughts or ideas of what Bulls should do.

Probably wait until 2014 is the honest answer.

Mayo/Paul Georgeray:
Mayo George or Smith
Aaron Afflalo
Go hard in the regular season, take a breather in the playoffs!
That list is pretty terrible.

Pretty sure Mayo will resign. James Harden is no longer a FA next year, neither is DeRozan. Pretty sure Martin will resign as well. Not any intriguing SG's to blow cash on imo, but Josh Smith sounds really really nice.

That list is kind of weak and the best ones like Harden are no longer available and plus nonr of them aren't stars.
BULLS ZORD
The only way the Bulls land a star is if Boozer is amnestied and that star player is disgruntled enough to demand a trade. The Bulls have quite a few pieces to offer including Lu's expiring deal, Taj, some enticing picks, and cap room to spare.
If Boozer is amnestied and the Bulls go shopping, they will likely try to secure another solid bench while keeping some of the cap around to facilitate another move in the future.
I don't think it's likely the Bulls amnesty Boozer based on the way the market looks currently.
a few problems with your list
1.some guys like harden, derozen have reupped and thus wont be free agents in 2013
2.we wont have enough money to make a splash in 2013,so no point in discussing 2013 free agents
3.the list outside of smith is pretty underwhelming
/\ Too true Abe, Evans, for the right price, maybe.
OJ fits perfectly if he can ever get back to a good play.
Evans fits the type of player we need more.
Stephon curry would have been perfect, but he has already reuped.
couple guys off the radar, JJ redick. Manu

Evans would be expensive, but this is a Bulls team that went all in with Boozer, Lu, and JoNo. If they get the chance to spend for Evans and pass it up - it's the epitome of hypocrisy.
