Would the Lakers let Kobe walk to sign Lebron in 2014???

With both set to become UFA's in 2014 do you think the Lakers would let Kobe walk sign LBJ?

Would the Lakers let what? A 36 year old chucker walk for possibly the GOAT?

I think we all know the answer.

Kobe's retiring in 2 yrs. So the Lakers can do whatever they want in the summer of 2014 without him getting in the way.

We all know how much loyalty Buss and Kupchuck have... Shaq who? Yeah, we'll trade him, it's not like he's done much for this franchise. You are the man Kobe........... LBJ? You want to play in LA? Oh, no, that Kobe guy isn't even on the pay roll now, don't worry about him. It's not like he's done much for the organization.

That said, I think at that point, Kobe may be will to take a pay cut to play for the team if it means LBJ coming.... after all, it will just mean more rings for him... and as long and LBJ and him are getting rings together, LBJ won't be getting more than kobe ;-)

    I wouldn't be surprised.

Though I think Lebron will stay with the Heat and Kobe stays with the Lakers in 2014.

If Kobe decides he wants to play past his current contract and the Lakers are able to sign LBJ im sure he would resign for the vet min. Money will never be a problem for him, I know he has an ego but hell be 36 then and im sure even he knows that he cant be the man at that age. His desire to win trumps all his other qualities.

I believe that's the definition of the term hypocrite. Enjoy it.

They would never let Kobe walk. He'd retire... That's the way this scenario would work

You don't know chacarronsau do you. He's actually a pretty big fan of LeBron and not so high on Kobe.
