Mayock is an idiot, he just throws stuff out randomly. At the 2011 draft he said Gabbert was the best QB prospect. Half way through last season he was saying Gabbert wasn't going to make it in the league. Early this season he says "Gabbert starting to show the things that made me rate him so highly"....He just remembers what works for him, but if you look at his track record, it's terrible in terms of judgement. Worse than Kiper probably.

I'd say this though, Mayock understands the game better than Kiper and McShay do. It's not really close either.

I like Mayock personally. Sure, he doesn't know a ton about Jaguars football, not many people do, let's be honest. We are a bad team right now.

A guy who runs NFL Scouting Services does some podcast stuff here and there, he works for 28 of the teams doing some report work for them. Or his company does I should say.

He's said the only one who could work in the NFL as a scout is Mayock out of the 3 main guys and he thinks McShay is a complete hack and he respects Kiper as an "encyclopedia of prospects" as in he knows about every single guy but he really doesn't know how to scout at any sort of level.

His name is Dave'Te Thomas I believe is how it goes. If you EVER havea chance to hear him on a podcast or something, do it. You won't regret it, some of the **** he knows is awesome and he tends to be quite accurate. He generally does podcasts for a bunch of teams around draft time, he might even do a Jags one not sure

i respect mayock the most out of all them.

the guys i prefer the most are the former players. i absoultely think rodney harrison is one of the best commentators out there (even though he doesnt do much draft)

but like when they have jerry rice and other guys deion analyze i like them a lot better then mchsay and kiper
