And for the record, Curry's one handed passes weren't the problem last night. A lot of it falls on the recipient of the passes. Festus had a couple passes slip out of bounds, and he lost it on a rebound as well. Barnes lost a pass out of bounds. Even if Curry's passes are little crisp (as JB would say) his teammates need to have their hands ready to catch.
We also took many perimeter shots without working it inside for fouls.
Barnes is going to be very good, and he's a smart basketball player. Hes playing a little nervous right now but once that goes away I think he'll be much, much better. what I'm worried about is that he displayed the same nervousness in some tournament games this year.
Hes gonna get run, so I think by February, he'll be more comfortable, and won't make as many basic mistakes like losing passes, and being out of bounds.
Unfortunately with Rushs injury, it could be too late for playoffs this season unless a guy like Richard Jefferson can have a big year and Barnes becomes comfortable sooner than later.
Besides, MJ and Kobe have missed their share of game winners, just no body remembers them. If Klay hit 5 game winners last season you would be overlooking yesterday.
If Klay hits that shot warriors have momentum and might go on a streak. Klay has taken that shot a million times he should have focused on that one shot. As far as curry, name me the last time the warriors were down and hit a game winning buzzard shot. Kobe hit 3 in a month! How many times have the warriors pulled it off?
