Line of the night: Nov 7th

Lots of games last night. The Spurs win steak was ended, Rondo's double-digit assist streak was extended and while there were a lot of impressive stat lines (Gortat got 7 blocks, Kobe lead all scorers with 29, 16 boards was the high for rebounds-Faired and Aminu both grabbed as many and Rondo lead the way for assists with 14), my line of the night goes to Monroe again who posted a triple-double with: 21 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, 1 steal.

Who you got for line of the night?

Edit: Just wanted to note that Brown got more points than minutes! And Speights almost had a 20/10 game with only 22 minutes of playing time! Both had great nigths off the bench.

Gortat over Monroe, 7 blks is more impressive than 11 assists, and a win is far more impressive than a loss

Timberwolves starting lineup and team rebounding: they all had at least 5 rebounds

That picks up the Love slack and helps win the rebounding battle.

I was tempted to pick Gortat myself.... 7 blocks is amazing!

7 blocks puts gortat in the elite company of Darko Milicic. Gotta say that Obama stole Moose's thunder yesterday, so he deserves some recognition today.

I would say Beasley is up there with his 21/15/7 night although he did take 21 shots to get 21 pts :/

11 assists which resulted in 26 points for his team as well as putting up 21 himself and securing 5 offensive rebounds which lead to 6 points for his team. Yeah that's just as impressive in my eyes. The outcome of the game is irrelevant since this thread has nothing to do with outcomes and basically everything to do with individual statistical production. I got no bones with the Gortat pick but let's not attempt to downplay the night Monroe had.

Damn, i didn't see Monroe's in that. Can the OP change my vote please?

Beasley's line was great but a triple double with assists for a centre? And with poor teammates? Monroe is balling right now!

This is so like PSD. Overrating a player like Monroe(lost the game, got shitted on by Gortat friday) and underrate the league leader in blocks Gortat!!!!

    QB's worst nightmare

This isn't about Friday night. This is about last night. Monroe has got **** on since the All Star game, and only a few people here actually think he's good. No one over rates him. No one under rated Gortat. Triple double for a centre on the worst team in the league is a lot more impressive than 7 blocks, which we already know Gortat is capable of doing.

Monroe slight edge with 11 assists to a crap team with bad shooters.. Love Gortat with a close second

When the season starts and the blatant homerism subsides, people will realize the 2 biggest flaws on our team. MAYBE??
