I'm also not too worried about the Dodgers in this one. They'll want something a little more proven, I think.
With the way they seem to be spending money, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do both

I'm hearing Baltimore a lot... Dodgers like the idea that they have infinite money surplus however, I'm hearing they will be extremely picky on where their plus tax cash gets spent...

Cubs are very much in it...

Ha, so they only care where their PLUS money goes. Good to hear the cubs are firmly in on it though, thanks for the update

Is there any idea on what kind of $ it'll take to land him yet?

    That's....not entirely true.

He sits anywhere between high 80s and low 90's, and he's supposedly topped out at anywhere between 93 and 95. It's pretty sketchy at this point.

People ask me, "Why here? Why Kentucky?", I said "Why not"? It can be done here. It will be done here. Lay the foundation. Recruit and develop. Prepare to win. Day by day. Play by play. A new era of high performance. Why Kentucky? Why not? -Mark Stoops

He looks like he might have value, just not sure how much.

Pretty much what I expect. The Dodgers aren't spending to spend. They want to win and they want to win yesterday. Probably a good time to try with Kershaw pre-FA price and Kemp in his prime.

I'm still annoyed that Boston was able to get the equivalent of a government bailout from the Dodgers.

When you field talented players other teams will notice, even if the team fielding the talent is losing games. LA simply took the opportunity to buy there rather than in FA, though I expect they'll sign some depth and a rotation arm or two.

Just think how good Boston would be if they never got themselves in they mess they were in. They'd have Rizzo and Reddick...

Watching him on film, his change up look similar to Johan's, and his fastball and curve remind me a little of CC. What do you guys think?
