That's....not entirely true.

He sits anywhere between high 80s and low 90's, and he's supposedly topped out at anywhere between 93 and 95. It's pretty sketchy at this point.

Pretty much what I expect. The Dodgers aren't spending to spend. They want to win and they want to win yesterday. Probably a good time to try with Kershaw pre-FA price and Kemp in his prime.

When you field talented players other teams will notice, even if the team fielding the talent is losing games. LA simply took the opportunity to buy there rather than in FA, though I expect they'll sign some depth and a rotation arm or two.
