As for the options listed. Every single one is a downgrade from Swisher. We need to face facts, despite his post season performances, Swisher is a VERY good OFer. He's the 2nd best OFer on the market. (Hamilton) So maybe we can save some money, but we probably make the team worse.

If Swisher is unreasonable, I like Bourn and Ross. I think Bourn will also be vastly overpaid. So maybe Cody Ross is a ok stop gap.

Delmon Young is not the type of guy any team should want.

There's a huge issue there. I'm not sure what we have for viable trade pieces. Most of our prospects who are closest to the majors suffered injuries and setbacks this season. So Banuelos, Romine, and Bettances have all lost value. I really don't know that this offseason is the right one to make a trade. And I also don't see some great RF option that should be available.

There numbers stink in post season. Small sample size..but hardly better "post season pedigree"

Age wise most are near the same age is swisher. Everyone acts like swisher is old. He's 31.
